Plan International Tanzania (PIT) is seeking to recruit
a Data Archiving Intern to support the digital archiving of
its financial records in Mwanza.
Role Overview
- Position: Data
Archiving Intern
- Location: Mwanza
(Candidates must be residents of Mwanza)
- Supervision: Zonal
Senior Accountant
- Deadline: 24th
March 2026
Intern Responsibilities
- Scan
financial documents intended for digital archiving.
- Present
all documents to the accountant for review before scanning.
- Arrange
payment vouchers chronologically before scanning.
- Save
and rename scanned documents as per document numbers (e.g., payment
vouchers/MIROs, journal vouchers) and by specific months.
- Retain
and arrange all hard copies of original documents in files and keep them
safe after scanning.
- Perform
any other activities assigned by the supervisor.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s
degree in Social Sciences, Records Management, Computer Science,
Communications, or any relevant field.
- Technical: Experience
in digital preservation tools.
Educational Resources
- Soft
Skills: Must have good planning and organizing skills.
