Tanzania, where we have operated since 1991, we work across eight regions
including Geita, Mwanza, Mara, Morogoro, Pwani, Rukwa, Katavi, and Kigoma.
We are currently seeking a Policy & Advocacy
Intern to support our team in Dar es Salaam.
Role Overview
- Position: Policy
& Advocacy Intern
- Location: Dar
es Salaam
- Supervisor: Policy
& Advocacy Specialist
- Primary
Objective: To support a wide range of demanding activities in the
department, including planning, coordination, and follow-ups.
Maps
Key Responsibilities
- Manage
communication and ensure smooth coordination across levels.
- Support
meaningful youth participation in policy and advocacy processes.
- Gather
information, prepare drafts, and assist in the dissemination of policy and
advocacy activities.
- Support
in responding to partner requests and preparing presentations.
- Assist
with any new initiatives within the department.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s
degree in Law, Mass Communications, International Relations, or any
relevant field.
- Languages: Fluent
in English and Swahili.
- Skills: Good
planning and organizing skills.
- Residency: Must
be a resident of Dar es Salaam.
