Jaza Energy Inc is hiring a Senior Regional Coordinator to lead zonal operations and drive growth across multiple regions. Since 2022, Jaza has completed over 4 million battery swaps, delivering clean and affordable energy access to approximately 225,000 people. Jaza also empowers women from local communities, known as Jaza Stars, to operate the service and drive economic growth.

Job Summary

The Senior (Zonal) Regional Coordinator will act as the regional business owner within the Execution function. The role involves overseeing operations, managing profitability, leading teams, and strengthening stakeholder relationships while ensuring alignment with Jaza’s mission and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

Regional Growth and Profitability

Develop and execute monthly and quarterly regional plans to achieve at least 130 active customers per site, monthly recurring revenue of USD 455 per site, and ARPU above USD 2.8
Manage regional profit and loss, control costs, and implement growth strategies aligned with company objectives

Operations and Inventory Management

Ensure strict adherence to inventory SOPs, keeping missing packs below 2 per site and lost packs at zero
Oversee inventory overstock management and resolve service interruptions promptly
Coordinate with technical teams to maintain hub uptime of at least 99.9 percent

Team Leadership and Development

Recruit, onboard, train, and coach regional teams
Conduct performance reviews, coaching sessions, and regular team meetings
Model Jaza’s values and ensure compliance with all standard operating procedures

Customer and Community Engagement

Oversee customer service delivery and resolve customer complaints efficiently
Build and maintain relationships with local government officials and community leaders

Reporting and Planning

Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on performance, growth, competition, and operations
Lead weekly planning sessions and address operational gaps
Participate in regional and country execution meetings and present performance updates

Legal and Administrative Support

Maintain government and regulatory relationships at the regional level

Qualifications and Experience

Proven experience in regional operations, preferably in energy, retail, or service-based sectors
Strong leadership experience managing teams and driving business growth
Excellent analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
Willingness to travel and work across multiple regions
