Job Summary
The Electrical Technician (Grade 4–6) will be responsible for installing, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems to support CNS Group’s operational and maintenance requirements. The role demands strong technical skills, teamwork, accountability, and strict compliance with safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Install, inspect, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, panels, and equipment
Diagnose electrical faults and carry out corrective and preventive maintenance
Ensure electrical works comply with safety standards, regulations, and approved specifications
Support routine and emergency electrical maintenance across facilities
Work closely with supervisors and other technicians to complete assigned tasks efficiently
Maintain electrical tools, equipment, and work areas in safe and serviceable condition
Report faults, material requirements, and completed works accurately and on time
Follow workplace safety procedures including lock-out and tag-out practices
Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, and reliability at all times
Qualifications and Requirements
Trade Certificate or Vocational Training in Electrical Installation or Electrical Engineering (Grade 4–6 or equivalent)
Minimum of three (3) years relevant working experience as an Electrical Technician
Strong practical knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and maintenance practices
Ability to read basic electrical drawings and follow technical instructions
Good teamwork and communication skills
High level of attention to detail, accountability, and reliability
Physically fit and able to perform manual work
Willingness to work flexible hours or respond to emergency maintenance needs
