Job Purpose
The Program Coordinator plays a central
role in managing project teams, budgets, and resources. The position focuses on
strengthening stakeholder engagement and ensuring the timely delivery of
project outputs to achieve both commercial and social impact objectives within
the Food and Agriculture pillar.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Project
Implementation: Coordinate project
activities in line with approved strategies and policies.
- Planning
& Budgeting: Develop and consolidate
annual, quarterly, and monthly activity plans and budgets.
- Reporting: Provide
regular performance updates, progress reports, and risk alerts to
leadership.
- Team
Coordination: Support project
implementation staff through coaching, learning, and capacity development.
- Administrative
Support: Process and reconcile
project documentation, including expense requests, contracts, and work
plans.
- Stakeholder
Engagement: Lead communication across
internal teams and external partners, including development agencies and
vendors.
- Event
Management: Plan and coordinate
project-related workshops, events, and beneficiary activities.
- Financial
& Procurement Support: Assist in budget monitoring,
disbursements, and the procurement of consultants or service providers.
Core Accountabilities and Deliverables
- Financial
Growth: Support the growth of Food
& Agriculture customers, loan portfolios, and deposit mobilization
targets.
- Compliance: Ensure
all projects comply with donor, EGF, and Equity Group policies and
procedures.
- Data
Quality: Collaborate with M&E
teams to ensure high data quality and accurate project documentation.
- Impact
Documentation: Document and disseminate
project success stories and lessons learned.
Qualifications and Experience
- Education: University
degree in Project Management, Agriculture, Agribusiness, Economics,
Development Studies, or Business Administration.
- Experience: 5+
years in project coordination, programme management, or development
operations.
- Certification: PMP,
PRINCE2, or an equivalent project management certification is required.
- Training: Specialized
training in M&E, financial management, or donor compliance.
- Technical
Expertise: Proficiency in ERP systems,
PowerApps, and DMIS.
