Job Summary
CNS Group is seeking a qualified, experienced, and patient-focused Optometrist to join our team in Dar es Salaam. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality eye care services, perform comprehensive eye examinations, and handle technical optical procedures while maintaining excellent clinical and customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and vision assessments
Diagnose refractive errors and visual conditions
Perform optical lens cutting, edging, fitting, and dispensing
Maintain accurate and confidential patient records
Advise patients on suitable frames, lenses, and eye care solutions
Deliver excellent customer service and patient care
Maintain high standards of clinical practice, hygiene, and equipment use
Qualifications & Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Optometry (mandatory)
Experience: Minimum of five (5) years professional experience as an Optometrist
Technical Skills: Strong competence in eye diagnosis, lens cutting, and fitting
Language: Fluency in spoken and written English
