CRDB Bank Plc, one of Tanzania’s leading financial institutions, has announced a major recruitment drive for 400 Direct Sales Officers to be based in Dar es Salaam. This opportunity is ideal for energetic, sales-driven individuals passionate about retail banking and customer engagement. Selected candidates will support the growth of CRDB’s retail banking liabilities products by proactively sourcing customers, meeting sales targets, and delivering excellent customer service in line with the bank’s business objectives.

Job Purpose: The Direct Sales Officer will support the sales of retail banking liabilities (deposit) products at branch and field level by identifying customer needs, generating quality leads, converting them into sales, and ensuring customers are digitally connected and actively using CRDB services.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify customer needs and sell CRDB deposit and liabilities products effectively

• Generate quality leads and follow up to convert them into actual sales

• Participate in sales activations, promotions, and campaigns to achieve targets

• Ensure onboarded customers are active and connected to digital banking channels

• Assist customers with account opening in compliance with CRDB policies and procedures

• Adhere to operational risk, Health & Safety standards, KYC, and anti-money laundering regulations

• Perform any other related duties assigned by the line manager

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Form Four / Certificate / Diploma / Degree

• Minimum age: 18 years and above

• Basic knowledge of banking products

• Strong sales orientation with excellent communication skills

• Ability to work as a team player while taking individual responsibility for results

• Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of effective follow-up

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
