Faculty of Humanities and Business Studies
Lecturer/Assistant Lecturer – Procurement and Supply Chain Management (3 Posts)
Responsibilities include:
Conducting lectures, tutorials, seminars, and practical sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate students
Supervising field practical training
Mentoring junior staff
Participating in curriculum development and managing university projects
Conducting research and publishing results
Engaging in community and outreach services, including industry linkages
Participating in consultancy services
Preparing teaching manuals and compendia
Supervising undergraduate and postgraduate student projects
Attending and organizing workshops, conferences, and symposia
Performing other duties as assigned
Qualifications: PhD or Master in Procurement and Supply Chain Management with a minimum GPA of 4.0 (Masters) and Bachelor’s degree in the same or related field with GPA 3.5 or above. Professional certification is required. Experience in higher learning institutions is an added advantage. Remuneration is according to MWECAU salary scales.
Lecturer/Assistant Lecturer – Social Work (2 Posts)
Responsibilities and qualifications are similar to those for Procurement and Supply Chain Management but specialized in Social Work.
Faculty of Science
Lecturer/Assistant Lecturer – Statistics (3 Posts)
Responsibilities include: conducting lectures, supervising field practical training, mentoring staff, curriculum development, research, consultancy, community services, preparing manuals, supervising projects, attending workshops, and other duties.
Qualifications: PhD or Master in Statistics with minimum GPA 4.0 (Masters) and Bachelor’s degree with GPA 3.5 or above. Experience in higher learning institutions is an advantage. Remuneration per MWECAU scales.
Lecturer/Assistant Lecturer – Mathematics (3 Posts)
Lecturer/Assistant Lecturer – Computer Science (5 Posts)
Lecturer/Assistant Lecturer – Physics (3 Posts)
Responsibilities and qualifications for these positions follow the same pattern as above, specialized in the respective fields.

Fluency in written and spoken English
