Job Purpose
The Credit
Administrator is responsible for managing debtors’ accounts, ensuring timely
collection of payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and handling
customer queries and claims efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure timely collection of payments through
continuous customer follow-up
- Estimate
and report daily cash flow
projections
- Analyse
customer payments and verify remittance advice against invoices
- Investigate
and resolve discrepancies and short payments
- Process
approved rebates and
ensure proper reconciliation
- Maintain
regular communication with customers to keep accounts within targets
- Provide
prompt support on requests for:
- Invoices
- Statements
- Proof
of delivery
- Reconcile
customer accounts and resolve differences
- Process
and maintain accurate records of credit notes and adjustments
- Conduct periodic account reconciliations (daily,
weekly, or monthly)
- Prepare
and distribute customer invoices and statements with supporting documents
- Ensure
proper filing and
documentation of all records
Minimum
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s
degree in:
- Accountancy
- Business
Administration
- Or
related field
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a
finance or accounting environment
Added Advantages
- Professional
certification such as CPA
- Experience
with SAP ERP systems
