Job Title: KG 2 Teacher
Location: Zanzibar
Employment Type: Full-time
Start Date: 1st April 2026

Responsibilities:

·        Plan and deliver age-appropriate, play-based lessons, including phonics, numeracy, early literacy, storytelling, and hands-on activities

·        Maintain a safe, nurturing, and well-managed classroom environment

·        Observe, track, and report student development and progress to parents

·        Collaborate with colleagues and engage parents on student learning

·        Support social, emotional, and creative development through activities, art, music, and physical projects

·        Participate in professional development to stay updated on early childhood best practices

Qualifications:

·        Diploma or Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education or related field

·        Strong knowledge of phonics, numeracy, and play-based learning

·        Minimum 2 years experience teaching Kindergarten (KG)

·        Excellent classroom management and child-friendly approach

·        Good communication skills in English (Swahili is an added advantage)

·        Passionate, creative, patient, and committed to child development
